FB: Instagram (FB) users uploaded 5M video clips...

5:05 PM Instagram (FB) users uploaded 5M video clips in the 24 hours following yesterday's launch of a 15-second video upload feature. The activity comes in spite of mixed reviews: The Verge's Ben Popper says it "feels bloated compared to [Twitter's] Vine;" and John Gruber declares it "bursts [Instagram's] bubble of simplicity and focus." But The Atlantic's Rebecca Greenfield argues video has made Instagram "beautifully strange." Either way, analysts already see plenty of video/brand advertising potential.
