12:11 PM Rackspace (RAX +2.1%) lands another big OpenStack customer: major European research organization CERN will rely on Rackspace to create an OpenStack-based hybrid cloud. CERN, which creates over 25PB of data annually, already uses Rackspace's public cloud services. The deal comes shortly after Fidelity tapped Rackspace to build an OpenStack-based hybrid cloud (it'll initially build a private cloud), and a few months after the company launched an interface/API for managing private clouds.
